This week at Barrels & Boards, our chefs and bar team are bringing bold flavors, elevated ingredients, and a few dishes that may have everyone at your table asking, "Can I try a bite of that?"

From rich Latin-inspired starters to premium steaks and indulgent seafood creations, this week's features are built for summer nights done right.

Start Things Off Right

Every great meal starts with that moment when the appetizers hit the table and everyone immediately reaches in.

Our Arepas bring a perfect balance of comfort and elevated flavor. Three warm, stuffed arepas are packed with tender shredded oxtail and finished with fresh heirloom tomatoes and sweet onion jam. Rich, savory, and layered with flavor, this starter delivers a little taste of something unforgettable.

Looking for something with bold texture and flavor? The Pork Belly Chicharron brings crispy, perfectly cooked pork belly together with smooth sweet plantain purée and Colombian aji sauce. Sweet, crispy, savory, and slightly bright from the sauce — every bite hits differently.

When the entrées arrive, things get serious.

The showstopper of the week is our Barrel's 52oz Grilled Tomahawk. A massive bone-in ribeye grilled to perfection and served with whipped potatoes, asparagus, and seasoned steak butter. For steak and seafood lovers who refuse to choose between land and sea, the Filet Antioqueño with Garlic Colossal Shrimp delivers both worlds. An 8oz coffee-rubbed filet is topped with a rich red wine demi-glace and paired with three colossal shrimp finished in garlic sauce, alongside fingerling potatoes and broccolini.
